Thanks to Amsterdam: Oh my god... this was so fucking great!!! Velvet Revolver were playing so good.
They started with the usual: Sucker Train Blues, probably the best song ever to start a show. The crowd was going nuts!! The show didn't have a weak moment, they kept on rocking.
Only thing, they did not play Fall To Pieces :( I have no clue why... But I really expected it, because Velvet Revolver has never let that song out of their set. Maybe Scott didn't wanted to play it. He seemed a bit annoyed during the show, while the other guys were having heaps of fun. It looked like Scott had back pain or something.
But whatever, this show was the best I have seen in years. The power, the energy, the attitude. Every Slash solo made the crowd (about 10-15 thousand people) scream like 12 year old Britney Spears fans.
They were so tight (as you can hear on the audio stream posted on this site), and Slither, Big Machine, Sucker Train Blues, and Mr Brownstone probably made the band a lot of new fans.
Oh yeah, rock and roll baby!!!!!!!
