Thanks to Daniela: Holy shit,this was such a hot day! Directly after school I drove with a friend to Cologne. We weren't able to preorder our tickets but we had a lot of luck and got tickets for the show. In the studio we had perfect seats and I could hardly wait until the show started. I don't like Stefan Raab because his jokes are really shitty but I didn't care because I wanted to see the guys again. You recognized how the mood of the five turned from a good one to a bad one during the show because of Raab's rude questions. At that moment I wished I had a bottle to throw at this fucking comedian! Raab didn't understand the jokes of the band and was just too stupid...
The sound in the studio was ok during the show but not the best when I saw the show on TV. Unfortunately they cut Dave's breakdance out of the show-it was really cute! These guys are just incredible!
After the show me and some other fans were waiting at a fence and after an hour Matt came around the corner! He's so cute and very friendly. I even had the possibility to talk to him. Some time later Duff appeared and I got my photos and an autograph. Meanwhile Slash tried to enter the coach unrecognized. No way! I even notice this curly cutie on a long distance and after I saw him in Hambourg before the gig started I wanted to talk to him (was too nervous in Hambourg to open my mouth*g*...). Ok, so we shouted a while and Slash came out of the coach. Fuck,I really started shaking again and just thought "Ok,don't get a nervous breakdown!". When he stood in front of me I was so nervous I couldn't bare it. All I could say was "Slash,you're the fucking greatest!". Gosh,what a shitty sentence! Surely he hears it everyday ;D Well,at least he smiled and said thank you. This day was so incredible I couldn't believe it that I met three rock Gods! The photos and autographs have a special honored place directly beside the setlist of Hambourg(I got it from a very nice security guy*g*)!
I hope to see Velvet Revolver next year again in Germany and maybe then I've got the luck to meet Scott and Dave. Let's see...
Thanks to Martin: I also saw this performance. Dave joked about being in contact with Axl! It was a bit hard for the band to do a normal interview because its hard for them to know what Stefan Raab exactly wants or how he exactly means something. I guess they also didn't know Raab before, so, well. the performance was cool, the song is great, was an exciting show.
Thanks to Julian: Last day I watched Tv Total. When the host Sefan Raab introduced the band, Slash came like a rockstar himself with a cigarrete in his mouth and leather jacket to the show, but not with his hat. Velvet Revolver gave an interview, but for me, it was not so good because Slash didn't say so much. Duff talked a lot about where they have been played. At the end of the interwiew Stefan Raab asked them if the are in contact with Axl. They said no but Dave said he phoned with him yesterday and he talks to him every day. So Dave said he doesn't joke!!! Slash said a day before they played with Izzy in Italy. So after that they performed "Fall To Pieces" and it was great. Slash wore of course his great top hat and a cigarette in his mouth. The whole energy and Slash's solo were amazing!!! Funny thing was, in the crowd there sat a fan of Slash who has got the same hair, but only in brown and his top hat!! So the band was great to see!!!
