Thanks to Montebello_Goon: Velvet Revolver is the mother f**king $#it!!! I was the first person in line for the free show and believe me the five and a half hours where worth the wait. The only seat better than mine belonged to the press photographers, but $#it, who am I to complain, I stood directly in front of Scott.

Scott, Slash, Duff, Matt, & Dave put it all out, putting up a hell of a show! I was surprised to see them perform Sex Type Thing, but f**k, they where bad ass!!! No disrespect to STP, but I think Velvet Revolver performs that song way better than them. They take it to another level. Quick note to the other members of STP, you must be F**KIN hating it!

Anyways the show rocked. Who cares if they played a short set, I would have been happy if they only played one song. Scott's vocals were right there getting the crowd into it. Slash, Duff, & Dave tore it up on guitar and Matt was looking pimp with all the go-go dancers around him.
All I got to say to you Velvet Revolver fans, if you haven't had a chance to see Velvet Revolver live, you have no idea what your missing out on. I've seen them three times and still plan on seeing them again. If you think there CD is good , there performance just tears it up. There is nothing else like it out there today. Believe me, after seeing them, you'll never be the same.

Thanks to David: Dude!!! Who is Axl!? Scott Weiland is a bad mother @#$%^!* He rocked Hollywood with Slash, Duff, Matt and Dave. This was the first show I have seen Velvet Revolver in and it was a bad ass show! Man seriously I know Axl was a bad ass front man but now that Scott took over I don't even know who Axl is! I am so going to every other show of their's man! Crazy Slash and his crazy solos! This is the best band in the world motherfuckers!

Thanks to Christopher Casey: I made the trip up from San Diego when I found out to see for myself and I wasn't dissapointed. They sounded a little raw, but kicked ass for being a last minute show outside on the streets of Hollywood! I was just glad to see that they kicked off their tour this way when nobody thought they would. You get the best of both worlds with this band(GnR & STP): Two of the best top 10 rock bands ever in my opinion. Scott W. sure looked and sounded a lot more rock & roll last night than Mr. Rose did at the MTV VMA's 2 years ago! Very rock & roll man!

Thanks to Ricky: Fucking amazing! We were front row on the gate, about a foot away from Slash while he did the solos for Slither and It's So Easy and most the time just sitting right under Duff. Scott's vocals were extremely on last nite and the band just kicked ass. It seemed alot of the people were there just for a free show and weren't actually big fans of the band, but nonetheless, it was a great experience and I will definitley see these guys again when they come back out to the L.A. area. A big thanks to the band for putting on that show for free, it was simply amazing.

Thanks to Swag Dawg: It's not often a big name band like this does a free show. They rocked hard. Sounded great and a lot of people in Hollywood were very appreciative of the fact that they played a free gig right on the streets. Great show, and they did a song that I have never heard them do!!! They ended with the Aerosmith song: "No More, No More". What a great show. It was so small, the guys came out of the tour bus right in front of us and were so cool just talking to us like normal people! Was something I'll never forget.
