Thanks to Amanda: Omg, what a great show, I went with my mom and a friend and had a blast. Yes, the Velvet Revolver set was way too short and could have been much longer. Before their set, Slash, Duff and Dave went and did a short interview in which I got some pics and afterwards, Duff came down and greeted us fans and to my surprise, he hugged my mom and he shook both of my hands. I would of asked him to sign my shirt, but I thought I had given my friend my sharpie, but it turned out I had it in my back pocket:(. But, needless to say I was very excited I got to meet him. I loved the set, especially "Fall To Pieces". I did get some pictures, a couple good ones and I got some short video clips. This was definitly a great show!

Thanks to Dara Wilson: The concert was amazing. Velvet Revolver was everything and even more than I had hoped to see. They put on an exciting show. I am ready to drive 7 hours away and see another show.

Thanks to You: Hey! It is only natural that when your getting a good thing you want more and I think this was the case for many. The guys in Velvet Revolver had more energy than the crowd! The show was crazy and the performance was up to my expectations which were very high. I think the rain and the over priced beer is what everyone was bitchy about and they took it out on my boys! That's a Tx sized order of bullshit. The fucking usual shit I put up with around here. See you guys in Austin!!!!

Thanks to Kris: I thought that Scott looked amazing, but the show, as said before, was too short. It pissed me off that there was no encore. How lame is that. He just walked off the stage, not only that, but it wasn't until the last two or three songs that you could even hear what the hell he was saying. I would say that it was a huge disappointment to most if not all.

Thanks to Gary: The show was short due to time restraints at the venue. The band came out and opened with Sucker Train Blues and rocked the house. Scott was exceptionally energetic despite the late start time. They played for about an hour and managed to squeeze in 9-10 songs ending with Slither. Would have liked an encore, but we have the city of Dallas' stupid rules to thank for that. Hopefully the boys will come back sometime next year. It was my 2nd time to see them live and they never fail to impress!!

Thanks to Velvet Revolverreviewer: I wasn't impressed with this performance. Slash where are your amazing guitar solos??? The show was short and the band was not that impressive. Big Machine, which is normally a great tune live, sounded terrible. And Dave, he plays in sync, but moves out of sync...very strange to watch.

Thanks to Matt: This is the third time I've had the pleasure of seeing the Velvet Revolver boys and they rocked my world yet again. Like Rat said above, the show was very short, but high energy and tight, as usual. I was especially happy to see that Scott seemed much healthier than when I saw them in New Orleans on the 17th. If you read this, Scott, know that you're fans are all pulling for you to remain healthy.

All of the band members seemed to feel really at home on the Smirnoff stage, as they've all played there many times in their former bands. Slash, Dave and Duff all raced back and forth across the stage and gave fans on both sides a great show. My buddy was seeing them for the first time and he was completely blown away by Scott's stage presence. He said it looked like a combination of Mick Jagger and Tina Turner! Not how I'd describe it, but funny all the same. All in all, it was great to see them again, even though I wasn't very close and the show was somewhat short.

Thanks to Rat: Well this show was good but way too short. I don't know why they played for less than an hour and did no encore, they had a big crowd and everything seemed to go pretty well. No Illegal I, no Brownstone, no Used to Love Her, no Aerosmith cover. But there was no way they could re-create this amazing show they played here in June, that one was too perfect.

Thanks to Duff McKagan: Hey guys, I just read a couple of the Dallas reviews on this site commenting on the short set. I just want to let you know that this was a radio show and our 'slot' was only 50 minutes...10:10pm to 11 with a strict curfew! We of course would have played longer, but our set time was what it was! Dallas rules....Duff
