Thanks to Elliot Vanotti: This was my first concert. Since then, I have been to Motley Crue, Steve Vai and the Blood Brothers. VR was definately the best and will remain the best for my life. The energy was amazing and I was 2 people away from the barricade. When VR finally came out, the intro to Sucker Train Blues came through the PA, then when it went full blast, it was the loudest thing I've ever heard in my life. I pray they will come back very soon, and keep coming back.

Thanks to Laura: This concert was great! My sons, 6 & 10, love rock music, but we limit them to their shows. I save Velvet Revolver shows me my husband and myself .It was a great show and we want you back! Maybe we will have the boys with us!! They are getting older....like the rest of us! LOL

Thanks to Grant: This concert was truly amazing. The best concert I've been to by far. It was magical. Velvet Revolver rocks!

Thanks to Erin: Words can barely begin to describe this amazing concert! I went with my best friends in the world! Biss, Julia [both reviewed]& Brandi and my sister Sam! We all are very into GNR so once we got word of Velvet Revolver & heard "Slither" on the radio, we were all over it! The next thing I know we had tickets to see them in concert!! I was stoked! I didn't even realize how mind-blowing it would be.

These five guys have power and presence that no one else has. Their music is a perfect blend of GNR and STP, while still being a sound all its own. Slash is by far my favorite guitarist and holds true to his reputation to this day. He was amazing on stage and mixed in some hard core, behind-the-head guitar playing in one of the songs! Scott Weiland has a great, powerful voice and an even more moving presence on stage. When he was up there sweating his ass off, he owned the crowd! It really showed when he stood up and did his classic "God" move I guess you could call it.

Seeing them perform at a live show proved that through thick and thin...true rock and fucking roll still prevails! It was worth every second and every penny. I would pay any amount of money to see them! I will never forget that night and what it meant to me! This may be the first Velvet Revolver concert for me, but rest assured it shall not be the last! This was the greatest concert ever! [At least until we go see them in Raleigh! VIP bitches!]

Velvet Revolver - You guys are unforgetable rock legends and an inspiration to us all! Never stop doing what you love! Much love to all of you! Rock on!

H.O.B. - As my good friend Biss said above, if any HOB employees happen to read this, you will wish you had saved that paper table cloth with sharpie non-sense written on it! Haha! It will not be the last time you hear from T.E.S.S.!

Thanks to Julia Wall: Julia here, fucking awesome, is an understatement. Best show that I have ever been to even though I've only been to 2. There is nothing in the world that could have meant more to me. GN'R used to be my favorite band but Velvet Revolver won them out big time, even though I'm not really one to talk because I've never been to a GN'R show because I'm only 13, I still don't think that anything could beat it. Velvet Revolver is now my all time favorite band and always will be. Seriously, I didn't think that I could last standing up that long but I did and I wasn't even tired becuse of the adrenaline rush. And I didn't think that I would ever get to see Slash in person. He was awesome (he's my favorite, he's extremely hot, all of them are extremely hot and I loved it when he put his tophat on!!) and Dave was right behind him and I loved that little drum solo Matt did before Mr. Brownstone or something. And when Duff came out when they all first came out and he stood up on the platform, very nice bod!!! And Scott is by far the best frontman ever. I think that they are all the greatest musicians to walk the face of the earth. The chemistery between them all is just absolutely perfect. There always somebody who's gotta talk smack about real rock bands cause they like rap or pop and that really pisses me off. Well gotta go my sister wants to use the computer. Great rock show guys, can't top that one.

Thanks to Derek: If I can say this that was fucking rock and roll. I don't think I can see another concert again because there will be no better. I was also at the Atlanta show.

Thanks to Fuji: It was the best concert I have ever been to. The set list ruled, Slash ruled, Duff ruled, Dave ruled, Matt ruled and Scott ruled. The only problem that I had with it was that it wasn't longer, because I would have stayed all night if they were up for it. I can't wait for them to come back (soon hopefully), because it was one awesome time.

Thanks to Melissa: Velvet Revolver rocked it out Tuesday night! They were much better live than I thought they were going to be. They played their stuff and then some old stuff and all of it was good. Scott Weiland is the best front man out there; he has complete control over the audience when he is up there. Great Show and a damn Good Time!

Thanks to Scott Miller: Wow, it's been 2 nights and I still have the jitters from the best fucking rock band today. I think Scott summed it up best with the opening statement: "we're Velvet Revolver, and we're here to play hard fucking metal!"

I'm not sure if I'll ever see a greater show, Slash is my favorite musician of all time and with the chemistry that these guys have, he will continue to be. Hopefully next year they'll come back around, because no amount of money will ever be too little to see these guys.

I caught a pick from Duff and I feel the adrenaline whenever I touch it. These guys are definitely not washed up and they're rocking harder than ever!

Thanks to Good Grief: This was my first ever rock concert and I love this band. They rocked my night. They didn't allow cameras though, that was a bummer.

I hated where I was standing. I was standing at the top of the highest stairs in the balcony. There were heads in the way, particularly these 2 heads that obstructed my view the most. I got frustrated and got into a funk, but I was able to grab a good view of the stage before Velvet Revolver went on.

The opening act came out at 8:00. It was this little known band from Nashville. They were alright but I kinda felt sorry for them. Velvet Revolver outshown them, big time. But Velvet Revolver was the main act and they're supposed to be the bigger act, right?

The opening act finished their set by 8:30. I had heard that Velvet Revolver was gonna go on at 9:00 but when that time rolled around they weren't ready. I was getting very anxious, asking my dad what time it was constantly. I swear, 9 minutes felt like 9 hours but you're supposed to feel that way when awaiting people you love very very much. They finally came on at like 9:23, and that's when the fun started.

The stage got dark as Slash and Dave played the opening riffs to Sucker Train Blues. Then the song kicked in and the lights went bright to reveal 5 incredible guys doing what they do best. This euphoric sense of feeling came over me. I was so happy, I almost cried. I was at a disbelief that someone like me was just a mere few feet away from guys like them. I have never experienced anything like it.

Scott was dancing around the stage, sporting his cop outfit. You couldn't hear his voice clearly over the ampiliers and the crowd, but I knew the words so it didn't bother me. Everybody else was equally good as well. Slash's and Dave's guitars, Duff's bass and Matt's drums sounded so amazing.

I found it very enthralling when Scott referred to the reserved seats and yelled "We're sweatin our asses off up here! Stand the fuck up!" I thought he made a good point. They needed to stand the fuck up! The rest of us were standing so why not they as well?

I remember a lot of smoke. There was smoke everywhere. Smoke coming from people's cigarettes and from the stage. Damn, I thought. They must've be playing really hard to create that much smoke!

Oh yeah and as a female I really enjoyed a shirtless Scott(nice back and spine!) and a shirtless Duff (nice biceps and abs!).

Illegal I Song is alot different live. I don't know what those keyboard thingies were but half way into the song Scott and Slash (or was it Duff?) were messing with them and making weird noises. And I think it was this song also that Slash sang into a mouth modifier thing. I think he was trying to come alive LOL.

I liked the STP and GnR covers too. Slash at one point said Scott was the greatest frontmen ever" (I'm paraphrasing) and they broke into Crakcerman, but at the beginning of the song I couldn't tell if the song was Crackerman or Sex Type Thing, those songs have similar rhythms. They played Sex Type Thing as well. Scott started it off with a little chanting of "Here I come I come I come I come I come..." into his megahorn(What I wouldn't give to scream out of his megahorn LOL!) and his bandmates followed with the song that is one of my favorite songs. Scott decided to be godlike and in mid to end song he did the thing where he stands on that thing and raises his arms up and claps, no American flag skirt (I was hoping though LOL!). I have seen this on the Thank You DVD and it felt really good to be a part of the crowd and cheering when he raised his arms and doing the rhythmic clapping along with him.

I honestly felt weird about Scott singing some GnR songs but he pulled them off really well. I love It's So Easy so it was a real treat for me to hear it. I had no idea that Used To Love Her was a Guns n Roses song until ironically I heard the GnR version on the radio on the way home.

I love Matt. He seems like such a nice guy. He's a damn fine drummer too. When he came out on his own I clapped so hard that my hands hurt. His little drum solo was cool. I remember my dad asking me before the show started if I wanted drums like his and I said "yeah!" I loved his drums. They were beautiful and they sounded beautiful too. But anyway, Matt's little diddy on the drums led up to Velvet Revolver's great cover of Mr. Brownstone. Like I said, Scott did the GnR songs really well.

They also did a cover of Aerosmith's No More, No More. Like everything else I thought it was great. My dad has Toys in the Attic. I need to find it and listen to the Aerosmith version. Velvet Revolver really knows how to cover a song.

And so the beginning of the end came with their always cool song Slither. The intro was a bit different, so different that I didn't even recognize the song until it kicked in. I was rockin man, I mean rockin! 'headbangs'

But, as life is, all good things must come to an end. The show was ver and it was time to get back to reality. I was sad, even more sad that I didn't get to meet them (this boy who goes to my school got Slash's autograph, I'm so jealous!), but fret I won't because thanks to the power of the internet they at least know I exist and they gave me the best night of my life!

I got alot of aches and pains from the show. My back hurt from standing up so long, my feet were killing me, I got a headache, an earache, and I was very hot (I can't stand the heat!). I didn't care though. I was too busy rockin out to Velvet Revolver and it was definitely worth it! 'headbangs some more'

I hugged my dad so many times and thanked him over and over for taking me to this extrordinary event. I'm glad Velvet Revolver was my first rock concert. I got a T-shirt after the show and I wore to school today as a symbol of honor, as if to say to my school "I went to a fucking awesome rock show! What lame-ass thing did you do?!?"

I can descirbe the show in many ways. Great, cool, awesome, kicked ass! It was like I was in the hall of the gods and the sound of Heaven rained on everyone who bore witness.

It was truly the greatest time I've ever had. 'salutes Velvet Revolver'

Thanks to Marie Sorum: The concert was great. The band was awesome I loved it. I really thought Duff was going to fall off stage. He would have got saved by the fans but I don't think he would have wanted it to happen. Anyway, Scott done his best and Dave, Slash was awesome; and cute Matt look well. Great!!! Oh and the opening band Luna Halo was grat. A rising star.
Love, Hugs & Kisses XXOO's

Thanks to Chase Jones: I go to lots of concerts and I would say that this was in my top 5 of all time and might be the best. Everyone in the band seems as though they are having a really good time and there is a lot of good chemistry. If you have not seen Velvet Revolver live yet then it should be a top priority!! Incredible.

Thanks to Anna Capel: Oh my gosh! I was blown away by the performance! It was totally awesome! Keep up the good work guys!

Thanks to Greg:: I was waiting for some new music for about 10 years now(sick and tired of waterdown commercial music). This was was just what I was waiting for. Some good ol' fashion Rock'n Roll. The best show I had seen...ever!!! Keep on rocking!!!

Thanks to Chris: I am speechless. I have only seen one other band live that has really blown me away, which was TOOL. Besides them, Velvet Revolver was incredible. Every song. Crisp. Clear. Tight. I've seen Scott with STP live, but never got a chance to see G n R. I don't know if I will be able to enjoy another live show the way I did last night. The energy was amazing. Goddamn, I hope this band goes on for another 20 years. Matt has inspired me to start drumming again. Playing Crackerman and Mr Brownstone really did it for me. Thanks guys for rockin deez nutz off.

Thanks to Ryan F: Great Show! The energy was high, the band was tight, it couldn't have been a more perfect show. Guns N Roses used to be my favorite band. I think I am Velvet Revolver forever after that performance.

Thanks to Eli Weed: Dudes, don't forget Velvet Revolver threw in GNR's "It's so Easy", "No More, No More" by Aerosmith, STP's "Sex Type Thing" and encored with "Mr. Brownstone".

I thought the band was in excellent form and tight. Matt Sorum's tempo was accelerated, but everybody kept up just fine. Weiland had the crowd completely under his control whenever he wished. Slash's licks are indeed impressive and Duff kept the bottom end there. Dave K., you look like a construction worker with the jeans, tshirt, and ballcap...come on, man, get in the game.

It was a little hard to hear the vocals where I was behind the sound board and I wasn't fond of the "candy wrapper" decorations that the House of Blues had put up for Christmas as they were a view-obstructer. The show was memorable and we are fortunate to have gotten to see these guys so close. HOB is a great venue.

Thanks to Ashtin Potridge: Ok, after hearing the rumors of how true rock is dead, last night was proof that good rock'n'roll still exists. It has been a long time since I've seen a show where I felt so connected to the artists performing. The fact that crowd participation was so big of an issue I can honestly say I was enertained. Most shows you just go and listen and get a few cheers from the band. With Velvet Revolver, it was a show. There was no moshing and very little crowd surfing. No one wanted to miss a second of it. Every single member was killer. If you haven't seen them, and they're coming to a town near you, definately go see them!!!

Thanks to Jordan: Awesome! The best concert I've ever been to! Without a doubt...I hope they come back some time in the future!

Thanks to Jason Walsh: Fucking awesome show guys! The set list couldn't have been any hotter! Wasn't expecting "Used To Love Her" or "Crackerman" which were icing on an already sweet-ass cake. Then to cover some Aerosmith off "Toys in the Attic" was a cherry on top. Anything off your album rocks and it was great to hear a good majority of it. Thumbs up to bringing John Kalodner in - he knows what rocks and will point you in the right direction. Keep rocking Scott, Slash, Matt, Duff, and Dave. The billboard charts have lost the true rock icons somewhere along the way. You are on pace to put Velvet Revolver in the icon ranks. Keep rocking, we, the rock listeners need you.
