Thanks to Juanma RacingStone: En River fue increible porque tocarn ante 50 mil personas, que igualmente creo q fueron a ver mas a los guns q a ellos. ya en obras el ambiente era distinto era toda gente q fue a verlo a ellos y no a aerosmith por ejemplo. tocaron 5 temas mas, y el mejor lejos fue I Used to Love Her, ese tema valio la entrada, por lo menos para mi q los Guns siempre fueron la mejor banda internacional y por mi edad (20) no los pude ver nunca, ojala algun dia se nos dea todos. Saludos.

Thanks to Antonio Ognio : Oh man! you won't believe how close the crowd was to the band in this venue. It's so small even the guy at the worst set or place got a perfect view of the show!!

Just as the night before Velvet started the show improvising and intro on top of soccer anthem "ole ole ole ole Velvet Velvet!!!"

Scott got into a little speach talking about Rock'n'Roll being the TRUTH and universal language. The band seemed very happy for the show being sold out, 5000 argentinians and latin american fans, I myself traveled from Lima, Peru just to stay there and it was worth every single second!!

Great concert!!! In my case it was waiting more the 18 years to see Slash, Duff and Matt live!! I also was at Quilmes Rock the night before.. Will never forget this shows!!!

Thanks to Paula: Hi there. I´m Paula from Buenos Aires -24, female, single=0) and I´ve just come back from the second show of Velvet Revolver in my city. I couldn’t say how happy I am. Have no words -not even in spanish-. But I'll try. First show was on Sunday 15, at River Plate Stadium, on Quilmes Rock Festival.(A four days festival, Velvet was playing the last day). Two Argentinian bands opened the show at 5.pm, around 7.30 pm we had Evanescence, then VR at 9 pm and Aerosmith closing the show from 11.pm to 0.30am. We were 50.000 people -more or less- in the stadium. VR played for an hour, and people went crazy.

It was incredible. Scott is a gret performer, fell in love with him. But such a short set list was like sucking the friut without biting it. So I had –I needed to- go to the second show: Monday 16th on Obras Stadium (now they call it “Pepsi Music stadium”, but I don't like using that name). This was a much more private show, we were about 5.000 people there. And this was amazing!! Stadium was full of mad people shouting and singing for VR. They presented many of the new songs from “Libertad”, Scott said wonderful words before presenting that song... something like “When you go to a rock androll concert what you meet is truth. The truth you can't even give to your parents, the truth the communication means don't tell you and it doesnt matter in what language is spoken..” We had hundreds of people from the public moshing and at least 20 of them were taken off from the public unconcious. But we spent a great time. It couldnt be better.

I was a little girl when i was watching a GNR video where Slash was playing. That was my first contact with rock. I was 6 or 7 years old but I can still remember that feeling. I'm 24 and rock has been “My way” since then. Finally, 18 years later.. I could see him on stage, and that was my biggest rock´s dream. The band was in front of me, Slash and VR mean “rock” for me, and rock means life (or Truth, as Scott said). So I cannot explain how happy I feel tonight. Velvet Revolver ROCKS!!! Thanks for all this rock. We´ll see you next time!

Thanks to Aero: - de 3 a 4 de la tarde estaba programada una firma de autografos en Texas music de Matt Sorum, que luego se retrasó.
- llegamos al show temprano, nro 20 en la cola.
- nos enteramos cerca de las 15 horas que en la radio avisan que van a entrevistar a Slash y quizas se prendan algunos mas (entrevista para descargar en seccion downloads)
- la entrevista y firma de matt retrasan todo el show, las puertas programadas para abrir a las 6 de la tarde se retrasa casi una hora
- nos ponemos en contacto con Sam, staff de Velvet revolver y le contamos que matt sorum nos invito a ver la prueba de sonido. El tipo nos dice que cuando escuchemos la prueba preguntemos por el y le pregunta a matt sorum. Vuelve y nos regala puas de slash.
- al rato vuelve Sam con otro tipo aparentemente con mas jerarquia (todo esto con mi spanglish) y le explicamos nuevamente. nos dice que cuando llegue matt pregunta y nos mete.
- llega la banda, sam aparece nuevamente con el guardaespaldas de slash, que habla español y nos dice que lamentablemente matt no nos agrego en la lista de invitados y no nos va a poder subir al escenario porque no hay suficiente espacio.
- entramos al recital 1 hora tarde y casi primeros, teniendo la valla a mano.
- durante todo el show sacamos las mejores fotos que jamas vi, que luego vamos a poner
- El set fue mucho mas extenso, de hecho sam nos regalo el set jajajaj
- La banda estuvo muy efusiva, slash estaba a 3 metros nuestro, tocando con los ojos cerrados 80% del show.
- Duff estaba MUY feliz, y dave nos inducia a que cantemos.
- En una parte del show toda la banda va a la parte izquierda respecto a mi y matt sorum queda a la vista, lo señalo (nadie hacia gestos en ese momento) el tipo me ve se rie y me saluda con un gesto, le hago con la mano pulgar arriba y sosteniendo el palillo me muestra su pulgar.
- Slash en el escenario me mira fijo a los ojos y se rie, me acercaba la mano al pecho y lo señalaba, justo despues lo mira a Damian dice unas palabras y se vuelve a reir.
- Justo despues slash hace señas a duff para que venga y nos señala con la cabeza.
- Despues del encore traen una banqueta que usa dave y tocan pink floyd.
- Slash se va al centro del escenario para el solo de slither y duff se pone enfrente mio, me mira de nuevo y se rie.

Thanks to fedes: I went to both shows, the one at the Quilmes Rock at River Plate Stadium and this one at Obras Stadium and I just can say that both shows were amazing, but this one was more like intimate, you know what I mean? Almost two hours of pure rock n' roll! The people went nuts when the guys hit the stage. I have to say that the new songs are great and I just can't wait for "Libertad"! When they play the GN'R songs (It's so Easy, Mr Brownstone and Used to Love her)...it was really amazing, all the people singing along, jumping from one side to the other of the stadium, it really was incredible! What can I say about the guys?!, Scott surprised me... his singing was very, very good (Wish You Were Here was very well sung!) Dave really rocks, Matt seemed very happy playing there, he waved his hands every time he could! Duff looks great man! And Slash ...I mean, I just couldn't believe (and I still don't) that he was there, I mean, he was three or four mts from where I was! I was just there, looking at him in awe! His playing last night was flawless! It has been an amazing night last night, I hope they come back soon! Do not miss the chance of seeing them! If you do, you'll regret about it! VR ROCKS!

The track #04 is 'Superhuman' not 'Headspace'...I really have many desire to listen to 'Headspace' :(

That show is bigger than Sunday, the people makin' crazy. In a moment, Matt and Slash played the intro of 'You could be mind' and this, is very very special moment.

The best song in the night are 'Sex Type Thing' I felt like I was in an Stone Temple Pilots concert.

Thanks to Pablo: El show estuvo muy bueno la verdad que el sonido se escucho espectacular .... muy copado todo, la relacion de la banda con la gente fue buena aunque podria haber estado mejor, ya que los fui a ver al hotel y nisiquiera salieron por la ventana a decir hola. Mas alla de eso repito que los dos shows tanto el de River como el del estadio Obras fueon muy pero muy buenos. Espero q vengan de vuelta pronto para escuchar en vivo su nuevo cd !!!! Libertad!!!
