Set was cut short due to the 11PM curfew, the show ended at 10:58, so good call on dropping "Wish You Were Here."

Thanks to Brandon: The show at DTE was the best VR show I've ever seen. The guys were in tune and on time with every song! VR is truly a must-see live band that gave an energized performance.

My personal favorites played that night were "Get Out The Door", "Come On Come In", and a cover of GNR's "Mr. Brownstone". I had the pleasure of attending the meet n' greet as well. The band was great, even though Scott didn't show. I did see him back stage with Mary and the kids riding around in a golf cart though. Matt, Slash, Dave and Duff were there, and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Big thanks to Joya - the meet n' greet hostess - who made the night one to remember. Catch VR live if you can, you WILL NOT be disappointed. - Brandon

Thanks to JKran11: The show was so amazing! The show started out with the always incredible Alice in Chains who completely amazed me from the first note. Velvet Revolver came out of the gates slow, playing some unfamiliar songs from Libertad. After 30 minutes or so all five of VR sat in a line and played a handful of slow songs. Although, VR has said in many interviews that they dont like to play covers from their former legacies, they played 6 covers. The highlights of the show were mainly the 6 covers but songs like "Set Me Free", "She Builds Quick Machines" and "Slither" were amazing. It was the most incredible experience of my life

Thanks to KiddRock79: I've been to many shows this year and in my lifetime. This one ranks up there with the best. Fast, pumped set and seasoned professionals rocked the house. You expect the stars of the show to be Slash and Scott Weiland and they don't dissapoint. Dave Kushner earns his keep and fans would make a big mistake not keeping their eyes on Dave interact with the "other" G'n R alumni. Duff just flat out belongs on the road 24/7 365 and is worth the price of admission. From the start with "Let It Roll","The Last Fight" they mix the new album (Libertad) with the first offering (Contraband) songs "Fall To Pieces", "Slither" and string together a complete set list. The middle of the show slows down (figuratively) enough to really highlight the diversity of their past (Interstate Love Song, Patience), present (Grave Dancer) and you pray there will be a future for this group because once is not enough to see this act live. A couple of premeditated encores (Mr. Brownstone rocks it out) round out a complete evening of rock the way it should be. ***** out of 5
