Thanks to Rachel: Show was awsome!!! Sounded great! Love it when they got thier stools out and played acoustic. Got to see another show when Slashes package came out of his pants!!!!!
Thanks to Dan: It was amazing!!!! AIC and VR were both amazingggg, I wanted it to be longer, like VR play for 3 hours and AIC 2 hours and Kill Hannah outta there. The only bad part was Kill Hannah, they suck.. but after the 25 - 30min of my ears bleeding by them, Alice in Chains came on with Again. The whole concert was completely amazing.

Opening act Alice in Chains/Kill Hannah. Started at 9:20pm (Velvet) and played until just about 11pm on the dot. Opened with NWA(I think-not sure) playing on the loud speakers, and closed with Re-Evolution on the loud speakers (the last and hidden track from the Libertad disc) They opened up with the first 2 tracks off of Libertad.
Slither closed the set- they were doing almost a psychedelic Jam in the middle- Scot talking about how being on stage represented freedom for him- “Nobody can tell me what to do when I’m on stage.” At one point, right before that, he got the crowd to do a somewhat complicated singalong- where he’d do a variation on what was presently done. I think he did probably 4 variations???? And he got the crowd clapping, too. I couldn’t believe- the whole pavilion was clapping during the breakdown of this song- for what must have been a solid 3 minutes! It seemed like it anyway.
One of the most anticipated shows I've been to in a long time. And they didn't disappoint!)
And after one song- not sure which- Slash’s 5 year old daughter came out on stage and he played a very basic version of Happy Birthday for her. She looked like she was crying, though! Hey, stagefright at 5- it’s understandable.
Thanks to Tim: You would think that seeing the same band for a fifth time would become tiring after a while right... well fuck no! Just got home from seeing AIC and the boys from VR, and that show was unreal... have to admit not a huge AIC fan except for a few songs, so they didnt really excite me much. Velvet Revolver are by far the greatest rock band left today. They started off the show with Let it Roll and from there it was on. A lot of the new songs were played and it was nice to be able to know the words and sing a long with them this time. She Mine, SBQM, The Last Fight, and my favorite track Get Out The Door were all amazing, and I liked Gravedancer as well.
Moment that stole the show was Patience. I mean my god, that song is amazing, and just hearing Slash do the solo, well yeah, I cant really describe it. The band was awesome, and Scott I dont think stopped moving except when he sat down. They played all in all I believe 20 songs, and just did not slow down.
VR definately gets 5/5 for this show, keep rocking boys!!!
Thanks to John: The show was very good. This is the 5the time I have seen VR and it's getting a bit repetitive, as expected, but it's still great to see them play. This was the first show I've seen since Libertad was released. I saw them at The Riviera in Chicago just before the album was released, that was a more intimate show than this one. Slash played "Happy Birthday" to his son, I think it was Londan. The whole crowd started singing along and that was cool. The band sat down for Interstate Lonve Song and Patience which were both really cool. I took full videos of about 5 songs which I'm hoping to post on YouTube soon. Scott's voice sounded GREAT with Patience. She Builds was nice, but my highlight was Gravedancer. i was hoping to hear "Messages" but that didn't come through. All in all, the show was enjoyable and the sound was pretty good. GO VR!
