Thanks to Saul: I have seen a lot of big-time concerts, but this show was one of the coolest and energetic concerts I have ever been to! Weiland surpassed my expectations as the front man and Slash was absolutely amazing! He truly is a guitar-god. Duff's ample crowd interaction was not anticipated but more than welcome. Dave and Matt hung back a little more but brought the thunder. Now for the set list: it was phenomenol. As soon as I heard the opening bass line and air horn of Sucker Train Blues, I knew the crowd was in for a treat. Highlights: Superhuman, She Mine, She Builds Quick Machines, Gravedancer, Last Fight, Set Me Free, etc. Not-so-great songs: None. Not to mention the fact that they played It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Patience(very surprised), Interstate Love Song, Vasoline, and Sex Type Thing(one of the best S.T.P. songs ever!) Icing on the cake: Alice in Chains played almost as amazing a show. One regret: Didn't pay the extra $250 to go backstage. Next Time....
