Thanks to linkster: Well Alright, many of us diehards wondered ,with hope about this show,THE FELLAS KICKED ASS BUT GOOD,This was as good if not better show out of the 11 I have been to.A boatload of "Contraband"and "Libertad"American Man""WAS SWEET" 3 STP,3 GUNS,about 30 seconds in between songs,I think 21 songs in 110 minutes is smoking,...plus a SMOKING GUITAR SOLO...My wife caught a Slash pick 5th row BEHIND THE PIT GO FIGURE...LONG LIVE VELVET ...Good Luck in court
Thanks to Bill: Alice N Chains Rocked the house. They sounded great, and the crowd was so excited. VR on the Otherhand absoluted sounded terrible. Their sound guys are the worst and after seeing them eitht times My wife and I will no longer go to a VR show. One out of four shows is a keeper and with all the good bands out their it is not worth the money anymore. Scott's arragant attitude is a shame! He seems to be seperating himself from not only his fans now but with the other band members. We love the Band but the lack of chemistry is becoming too transparent. If I was in the band I would vote to get rid of Scott and get a lead singer who actually gives a sh@* about someone other than himself! Goodbye VR and I wish the best to all the other band members.
Thanks to ryan bakeman: it was a kick ass show it was awsome scott jumped into the fans and every one mauled him they tip off his HAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he also jumped on top of the amps and spilled dave's BEER. the amps almost went down with him to at sex type thing his megaphone was in the wrong spot and he coludnt find it I LOVE SCOTT
Thanks to Kelly: The VIP program that was supposed to be a great thing for me, turned out to be a waste of my time and my money. I stood in line with everyone else from 6:00 pm and after being re-routed to the back of the Venue (Universal) we in turn were asked to wait another lengthy period of time. It was nice to see Scott walk right past all the die-hard "VIP" fans freezing their asses off and not even acknowleging any of us. I have seen countless shows and just like the mass exidus of people leaving VR's performance early, it will be the last show I attend. The music was lifeless and the sound was pathetic. Scott needs to be booted from the band and they need a point man who will not be so stuck on himself!
